Greetings from Australia! It’s been a full and exciting week for me as National Networking Week ambassador for the Australian Institute of Management. Four radio show interviews, a total of 13 live appearances, thousands of kilometers traveled, and ZERO iced coffees!
Because of the 14-hour time difference, I decided to give up my daily brew during my trip so nothing would interfere with my sleep. But cafes abound just as in the U.S. – even more so — and while cups of “flat whites” breeze past me on platters, I’ve had to be content with peppermint tea. Sigh.
Still, I can’t complain one bit. It’s been exhilarating to be on such a fast paced schedule and have the opportunity to speak with so many people. In fact, it’s been so popular that National Networking Week has been SUPER-SIZED to include 2 additional events on Monday, August 13th!
I’ll be here for another week and have been posting updates and photos on my Facebook page.
In the meantime, my team is holding down the fort back home, helping to promote two special teleclass events – the Engage & Persuade telesummit taking place right now, and our monthly Smart Networking Shift expert interview scheduled the week I get back. Be sure to reserve your seat for both right away!
To your success!
